Responsibilities

  • Execute DevOps and Quality Engineering activities for Salesforce applications.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive Salesforce deployment and release automation using Flosum or similar Salesforce DevOps tools.
  • Manage Salesforce source control, branching, metadata, environments, deployments, and release processes.
  • Build automated quality gates and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and implement functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end test automation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot complex Salesforce deployment, pipeline, integration, environment, and test automation issues.
  • Support release planning and production deployments while identifying release risks and dependencies.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best-practice recommendations to DevOps, QE, and development teams.
  • Establish and track metrics including deployment success rate, automation coverage, pipeline reliability, defect leakage, and release quality.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI/GenAI for test generation, defect analysis, automation, and engineering productivity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience across DevOps, Quality Engineering, software engineering, or test automation.
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce development and delivery ecosystem experience.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Flosum or similar Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CI/CD, metadata deployments, source control, environment management, branching, and release management.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines and strong experience with Git and branching strategies.
  • Strong Quality Engineering and test automation experience covering functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and API testing.
  • Experience integrating automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills across pipelines, environments, deployments, and application integrations.
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives and provide technical direction to engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across development, architecture, QE, business, and technology teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Salesforce certifications, ISTQB, or CSTE certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Experience Cloud is preferred.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, SAST/DAST, performance engineering, enterprise integration technologies, and AI/GenAI use cases is preferred.
  • Financial services or insurance technology experience is preferred.
