Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, implement, test, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, and applications development.
- Monitor and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user support.
- Build multithreaded applications and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Perform performance tuning for large, high-volume technical solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and help establish operating standards and procedures.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, operational, and reputational risks.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated strong software development skills and experience with systems analysis and application programming.
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA, application servers, JMS, MQ, and Kafka applications.
- Experience building multithreaded applications and troubleshooting complex related issues.
- Experience working across Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience tuning the performance of large technical solutions with significant volumes.
- Experience with payments technology.
