Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end system test strategy.
- Build scalable automation and regression frameworks.
- Improve test coverage across complex distributed workflows.
- Lead performance, reliability, scalability, failover, and other non-functional testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed quality early.
- Drive root-cause analysis and continuous quality improvements.
- Mentor SDET teams and advance automation and testing practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required; 5 to 7 years is preferred.
- Strong experience in system testing and automation using Python, Ruby, or Perl.
- Expertise in distributed systems, APIs, networking, Linux, AWS, and NoSQL.
- Experience with scalable test frameworks and CI/CD environments.
- Hands-on experience with performance, concurrency, and reliability testing.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and drive quality initiatives.
- Experience with large-scale storage or distributed platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to chaos testing, workload modeling, and AI-driven testing is preferred.
