Base Salary
$250k - $413k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship Android features and infrastructure for members and internal engineering teams.
- Write clean, testable, and documented code backed by automated JVM unit and Espresso tests.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to scope work and evaluate trade-offs.
- Modernize Android codebases, tooling, and development practices.
- Use GenAI tools and explore agentic workflows to improve development productivity.
- Own projects end to end, including scoping, implementation, delivery, communication, and estimation.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Android development and the ability to learn new frameworks and paradigms.
- Strong Kotlin coding skills; Java experience is a plus.
- Comfort working with adjacent stacks such as GraphQL.
- A track record of shipping real product features.
- Ability to make decisions and weigh trade-offs with incomplete information.
- Strong cross-team communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Circuit, Dagger/Hilt, or GraphQL is preferred.
- Experience building or maintaining SDKs, developer tooling, or shared client frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with high-scale or real-time systems such as live streaming, advertising, or playback is preferred.
