Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams on software architecture, design patterns, best practices, and technology choices.
- Oversee delivery of complex projects from concept through production.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and foster continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Set technical direction, make high-stakes decisions, and lead product delivery against the product vision.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable SaaS and enterprise software solutions.
- Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI to automate processes, provide intelligent insights, and address business challenges.
- Use prompt engineering and AI evaluation frameworks to deliver scalable and responsible AI capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is stated, with the education section requiring a minimum of eight years in software development or engineering roles.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in Python and multiple programming languages, with .NET provided as an example.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with containerization, infrastructure as code, and delivery pipelines using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems and data architecture.
- Experience leading complex, large-scale projects and engineering teams, including technical leadership and architectural design.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills.
