Responsibilities
- Design, extend, and optimize large-scale, highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems handling graph datasets and real-time event processing.
- Architect and implement security products that protect customer data.
- Build and ship production backend services in Go.
- Analyze and troubleshoot performance and scaling issues in distributed systems using large databases and streaming platforms.
- Develop secure-by-design software capable of processing untrusted data and communicating with large numbers of endpoints.
- Potentially build API-level connectors integrating with enterprise SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with distributed teams and incorporate direct customer feedback.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and production backend services.
- A strong track record building and extending large-scale backend applications and their architectures.
- Experience using databases at very large scale; knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services is a plus.
- Experience profiling and optimizing distributed code using large databases and streaming platforms.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and ship quickly.
- Customer-centric mindset and willingness to communicate frequently with teams in Europe and the US.
- For the India location, candidates must be based in Bangalore; EU-based talent may work remotely.
