Responsibilities
- Design complex end-to-end solutions integrating Cognite SaaS offerings with customer portfolios and target architectures.
- Work with sales, delivery teams, data scientists, product managers, technical leads, and customers from discovery through implementation.
- Map technical requirements and lead quality implementation designs covering data visualization, transformation, modeling, contextualization, integrations, security, logging, and operational support.
- Design integration and data models using Cognite data connectors, SQL, Python, Java, and APIs.
- Advise customers and partners on Cognite Data Fusion and identify opportunities for new products and features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an application, data, solution, or enterprise architect.
- At least 2 years of experience in the heavy asset industry, such as oil and gas, manufacturing, or pharmaceuticals.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience with operational data, customer business drivers, enterprise integration, customer relationships, or IT integration design.
- Experience leading data and analytics implementations and working with broad data and analytics stacks.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools, SQL, big data tooling, public cloud platforms, network security concepts, identity providers, and application hosting.
- Experience with operations, support, change control, centralized monitoring, logging, reporting, Git, CI/CD, and deployment environments.
- Technical background with the ability to contribute code and architect data warehousing, big data, infrastructure, and data modeling solutions.
- Consulting experience and the ability to negotiate requirements confidently with customers and colleagues.
