Base Salary
$149k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with strategic customers as a technical partner from problem discovery to solution implementation.
- Architect, build, deploy, and operate generative AI systems including APIs and data processing pipelines.
- Work in cloud, on-prem, and edge environments to ensure software functionality where needed.
- Prototype and deploy systems using core products and design patterns, providing insights for improvement.
- Scope, sequence, and lead the delivery of solutions, defining roadmaps and priorities.
- Codify reusable patterns for mission environments to enhance future deployments.
- Act as the technical face to customer leadership, managing expectations and ensuring successful adoption.
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience, ideally in customer-facing or government environments.
- Strong backend engineering skills with production-grade code in Python or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with LLMs or generative AI systems and understanding of context engineering.
- Ability to work in ambiguity, define scope, and deliver under pressure in dynamic settings.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Mission-oriented mindset with an understanding of supporting national defense.
