Responsibilities
- Build and maintain low-latency, real-time inference services for high-volume security data streams.
- Deploy graph analytics and supervised learning models into production to support real-time threat detection.
- Implement MLOps practices including automated deployment, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and model performance monitoring.
- Build scalable ML pipelines, feature stores, internal tooling, and libraries for security engineering teams.
- Develop closed-loop systems for automated response and mitigation using security telemetry.
- Design production services with adversarial resilience, including defenses against model evasion and high-volume load.
- Take ownership of complex engineering problems and mentor junior engineers in production engineering and MLOps.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or data science.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying anomaly detection and clustering systems in a production cybersecurity environment.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Flink, Ray, and Spark or PySpark for streaming and distributed processing.
- Experience implementing comprehensive MLOps methodologies, automated deployment, CI/CD, and real-time performance monitoring.
- Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Airflow for production ML pipeline orchestration.
- Mastery of Python, scalable software design, and API development for real-time inference.
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models to production and collaborating with ML research teams.
- Experience with feature stores and low-latency feature retrieval for real-time model scoring.
- Preferred: experience optimizing high-throughput systems for low latency.
- Preferred: master’s or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Preferred: offensive security or Red Teaming experience and knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and OCSF.
- Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers in production engineering and MLOps.
