
Lead Software Engineer - AI/ML Engineering, GPU ML Serving

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software and ML systems.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Develop scalable systems and services using APIs, distributed systems, microservices architectures, and NoSQL databases.
- Mentor engineers, establish engineering standards, and improve overall team quality.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Professional software development experience with emphasis on ML systems.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate and refine generated outputs.
- Experience designing and developing scalable systems and services, including web services or APIs.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one public cloud platform such as AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of system design fundamentals, distributed systems, microservices architectures, and Cassandra or an equivalent NoSQL database.
- Mentorship and technical leadership experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Java or C++, GPU workloads in Kubernetes, TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving, Triton Inference Server, distributed training and inference, model compression, edge deployment, API management, Domain-Driven Design, and Agile development environments.
