Responsibilities
- Understand existing application architecture and solution designs.
- Design and develop individual application components, frameworks, and core functionality.
- Build applications hosted on Azure cloud.
- Integrate Azure services and APIs with React applications.
- Develop secure and scalable web applications.
- Collaborate with architects, leads, and team members in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Review code and establish development best practices.
- Lead or mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Identify solution gaps and develop effective resolutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and apply them to EY use cases and business problems.
- Keep management updated on project progress.
Requirements
- Strong Azure and Python development skills.
- Experience with Azure Web Services and Azure SQL.
- Experience with Azure Cognitive Services for image analysis, OCR, facial recognition, sentiment analysis, key phrase extraction, language detection, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and speaker recognition.
- Experience building and training language models with LUIS.
- Experience integrating Azure Bot Services with cognitive capabilities.
- Experience with Azure AI Studio or OpenAI on Azure and generative AI models.
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices involving keys, endpoints, and access control.
- Strong Python knowledge, including data structures, object-oriented programming, and exception handling.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and using Azure SDKs.
- Experience using pandas, NumPy, and json for data processing.
- Familiarity with scikit-learn, transformers, or OpenAI SDKs.
- React experience with reusable functional components, hooks, and component-based architecture.
- Experience with Context API, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand for state management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work as a team player, work independently, handle high-pressure situations, and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
