Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software that meets product needs.
- Support merging code bases across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex technical problems with scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to technical innovations and define coding standards.
- Mentor and support software development team members.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and perform other assigned duties while complying with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience using Java or Python and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with Java or Python and modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Experience drafting coding best practices and designing highly scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Knowledge of caching and DBMS technologies including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, plus database schema design experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms involving real-time complex transactions.
- Experience with core AWS services; AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
