Base Salary
$121k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ArcGIS platform-based strategies and solutions for complex Professional Services customer requirements.
- Define business continuity, security, governance, publication, and custom application architecture strategies for on-premises and cloud deployments.
- Design ArcGIS Enterprise systems and integrations with non-Esri platforms, including enterprise business systems.
- Translate customer requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
- Advise customers on architecture, technology, implementation, migration, and GIS workflow strategies.
- Develop organizational multi-year IT/GIS strategies to support technology change and budget planning.
- Mentor colleagues and technical staff with less experience.
- Lead implementation activities through coaching, reviews, budget and portfolio alignment, risk management, and personnel management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in GIS platform architecture and solution design.
- Experience designing and integrating high-performance computing, cloud, and edge-native architectures.
- Knowledge of zero trust, cross-domain services, and securing classified networks.
- Professional experience architecting, implementing, and administering enterprise IT-GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise across desktop, server, and online environments.
- Experience with platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, and deployment.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and other relational database or server environments, including Windows and Linux.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, and HTML5 or modern web frameworks.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as ERP, EAM, CRM, and SCM.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures and hybrid cloud configurations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- U.S. citizenship and an active or current within-two-years Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or equivalent certification is recommended.
- CompTIA Security+ certification and a master’s degree in a relevant field are recommended.
