Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new Saily product features and a high-quality backend codebase.
- Build capabilities for multi-dimensional personalization, A/B experimentation, and analytics.
- Improve code quality and system performance continuously.
- Design and build easy-to-use, understandable APIs.
- Mentor colleagues on development best practices and provide technical guidance.
- Influence the team’s product vision and long-range goals.
- Perform R&D operations as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- More than four years of backend development experience.
- Experience with at least one backend language: PHP, Python, C#/.NET, Java, or Kotlin.
- Strong system design knowledge and understanding of appropriate design patterns.
- Experience with SQL solutions such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with NoSQL solutions such as Cassandra or Redis.
- Previous experience with Kafka.
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservice architecture is a plus.
- A product mindset focused on customer problems, outcomes, and impact.
- Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for working with AI agents.
