Responsibilities
- Start projects from scratch and develop new backend functionality.
- Participate in code and architectural reviews and document architecture.
- Communicate with project managers, developers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Own solution development, support cross-stack integration points, and drive process improvements.
- Deliver the product roadmap and plan future enhancements.
- Resolve complex development problems and provide creative, rapid field support.
- Write highly testable, automatable, performant code and uphold coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior team members and serve as a go-to expert for technical guidance.
Requirements
- More than 7 years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong computer science, computing theory, object-oriented programming, domain-driven design, SOLID, testing, database, algorithm, data structure, design pattern, architectural pattern, and enterprise pattern knowledge.
- Understanding of network protocols, authentication, authorization, and web application integration practices.
- Excellent C# and .NET knowledge and experience.
- Commercial experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ORMs, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, REST API development, Azure, testing frameworks, continuous integration tools, web servers, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL Server, RabbitMQ or ServiceBus, and tools such as Entity Framework, Dapper, NUnit, XUnit, MSTest, TeamCity, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Upper-intermediate English or above.
- Desirable experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Azure Search, third-party integrations, Redis, or Memcached.
- Strong communication, ownership, motivation, flexibility, attention to detail, process improvement, and mentoring skills.
