Responsibilities

Build and operate cloud services using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Develop across client, server, and cloud systems as part of a structured early-career engineering program.
Design and build proof-of-concepts for new content-delivery methods and AI-assisted features such as content tagging, summarization, search, and personalization.
Use AI-assisted development tools, code assistants, and LLM APIs to accelerate prototyping and delivery.
Collaborate across teams, present ideas, incorporate feedback, and follow engineering best practices.

Bachelor’s degree, a Full Stack Web Development certificate paired with an Applied Science degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Approximately six months of application and/or web development experience; internships, co-ops, and project work count.
Working familiarity with several of JavaScript, Java, Node.js/Express, Python, ReactJS, MySQL, MongoDB/Mongoose, HTML5, and CSS.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: exposure to Docker, microservices, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux fundamentals, and serverless or event-driven architecture.
Preferred: familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Preferred: hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts or tools, including LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, or basic ML model integration.

The role initially proceeds as a temporary agency contractor and may transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.
The temporary contractor period is not benefit-eligible through Sinclair.
