Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale a new Content Delivery Network (CDN) for Starlink.
- Build robust, responsive, and scalable distributed systems.
- Create tools for real-time diagnostics and maintenance of complex systems.
- Design algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization and cost efficiency.
- Implement systems to manage traffic across multiple CDNs.
- Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop prototypes and manage experiments for future design concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field, or 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in software development using C, C++, or Rust.
- Advanced degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
- Networking experience is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems and CDN systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Edge Networking, DNS, Traffic Management, and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
