Responsibilities
- Design and develop mid-tier services and REST APIs within the Java ecosystem.
- Build and maintain database-centric applications using SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles in software development.
- Debug complex issues and contribute to unit, regression, and integration testing.
- Work with enterprise security applications and large legacy codebases.
- Use build tools and AI-assisted development tools to support software delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Experience with database-centric applications and SQL using PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Ant or Maven build tools.
- Knowledge of security concepts and tools such as Snyk and Black Duck.
- Knowledge of IBM Virtual Identity Access, WebSEAL, SiteMinder, or Integrated Windows Authentication.
- Experience with unit, regression, and integration testing.
- Strong debugging, logical problem-solving, and ability to learn new technologies.
- Experience working with large legacy codebases.
- Knowledge of Groovy is an added advantage.
