Responsibilities
- Design and develop web services, webpages, APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with product teams on integrations, testing, deployments, service interoperability, and architectural decisions.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Write code, pair with engineers, and conduct code and architecture reviews.
- Promote software engineering best practices, quality, iterative delivery, and user-centric solutions.
- Communicate with engineering teams and internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop solutions supporting vehicle diagnosis, repair, servicing, and Ford’s global Parts & Service business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility in software engineering, architecture, and Agile frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React.js or Angular.
- 3+ years of experience with modern relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse and global teams.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
