Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues and design solutions to address them.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable features for new and existing products.
  • Test applications and ensure logic, syntax, and outputs are accurate.
  • Document code, architectural changes, technical documentation, and database-level modifications.
  • Own product modules and key architectural services from requirement scoping through production launch.
  • Improve system performance and scalability through innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with peers, Principal Software Engineers, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior team members and help them complete their tasks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and refine user stories and tasks in Jira.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications using Azure.
  • Expertise creating APIs with .NET Framework or .NET Core and REST principles.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with relational SQL databases.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular is preferred.
  • Experience with non-relational databases such as Raven or Cosmos is preferred.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development and SOLID principles.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and their integration into development workflows.
  • Ability to define engineering best practices and mentor team members.
  • Practical knowledge of modern web application architecture, JavaScript-driven application flows, and API-driven backends.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
