Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions for enterprise business requirements.
- Build custom reports, module pool programs, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, user exits, customer exits, BAdIs, forms, and workflows.
- Develop RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, ALE interfaces, proxy and web services, file-based interfaces, CDS views, AMDPs, and OData services.
- Prepare technical design documents, estimate development effort, review functional specifications, and create reusable and scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and Basis, Security, Integration, and Infrastructure teams across SAP modules and delivery activities.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, system upgrades, migrations, SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, and release management.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, performance tuning, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and production support.
- Maintain technical documentation, transport management, version control, and compliance with SAP development standards.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Experience with at least one end-to-end SAP implementation and with support, enhancement, and rollout projects.
- Strong ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP experience, including reports, module pool programming, forms, DDIC, function modules, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, ALE, enhancements, and user exits.
- Experience with SAP integration interfaces, file interfaces, web services, SOAP, REST APIs, OData services, and SAP Gateway.
- Preferred experience with CDS Views, AMDP, code pushdown, SAP HANA performance optimization, Eclipse ADT, and ABAP on HANA.
- Experience supporting one or more SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, HCM, or PM.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- SAP ABAP Certification and SAP S/4HANA ABAP certification are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, independent-work, collaboration, and prioritization skills; Agile/Scrum exposure is preferred.
