Responsibilities
- Review manual test cases, user stories, and functional requirements for Salesforce customizations and ensure suitable automation and thorough coverage.
- Support, maintain, and enhance automated testing activities across iterative development, system testing, regression testing, and multiple Salesforce releases.
- Execute manual test cases and scripts for features under development using test management and tracking tools.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data strategies in accordance with QA standards.
- Establish, configure, and maintain Salesforce Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs for test execution.
- Participate in developing, deploying, and administering QA processes, tools, and CI/CD technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Design, create, and execute Playwright automation scripts for Salesforce Lightning interfaces, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM components.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software testing experience, including significant experience testing Salesforce applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- At least 2 years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright, including experience addressing Salesforce automation challenges.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of Salesforce security models including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
- Experience using Postman for API testing with Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.
- Experience using X-ray or similar test management tools integrated with Jira.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, frequent release cycles, and Salesforce deployment processes such as Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or standard CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git; familiarity with SOQL and basic Apex knowledge.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder are preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is an asset.
