Base Salary
$130k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build state-of-the-art mapping pipelines combining data from a wide variety of sensors.
- Develop real-time localization algorithms that use mapping data.
- Implement computationally expensive algorithms on commodity hardware.
- Lead visual mapping and localization efforts for autonomous driving technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- An advanced degree.
- Familiarity with visual SLAM and place-recognition theory.
- Strong skills in probabilistic filtering theory, computer vision, and inertial pose theory.
- Fluency in C++; Python skills are a plus.
- Prior experience with pose estimation, probabilistic filtering, SLAM, or nonlinear optimization.
- Experience implementing computationally expensive algorithms on commodity hardware.
- Ability to work in undefined and fast-paced environments.
- Experience in self-driving technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux, ROS, real-time sensor fusion, embedded systems, or robotic and vehicle systems is a plus.
- Experience with IMU, lidar, camera, odometry, or radar sensor data is a plus.
