Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and engineers to understand requirements and provide development estimates.
- Drive and participate in the design and architecture of microservices.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and testable code and services.
- Build full-stack experiences and robust backend systems as part of an agile development team.
- Own services from inception through deployment monitoring, proactively address health issues, and resolve production problems in accordance with SLAs.
- Research new features and technologies and participate in live site reviews and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- 6+ years of experience with frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and VueJS.
- Experience with C#, Java, C++, NodeJS, or another backend programming language.
- Full-stack experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C# and Java.
- Experience collaborating with designers and usability researchers.
- Experience developing software using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns.
- Experience with Git and continuous integration and deployment tools.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with scalable and maintainable services, RESTful web services, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, cross-browser behavior, telemetry, and cloud computing technologies such as Azure.
