Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of a production exploitability engine spanning evidence ingestion, entity resolution, probabilistic attack-path analysis, choke-point ranking, and validation.
- Lead zero-to-one development of a reliable production system and establish technical direction across architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop probabilistic ranking, correlated-control-failure modeling, uncertainty bands, calibration, and validation loops using canaries, purple-team exercises, and incident replay.
- Define engineering metrics including entity-resolution accuracy and calibration quality, and determine what to reuse versus build net-new.
- Partner with product, security R&D, and SecOps to translate customer problems into architecture and actionable decisions.
- Mentor senior engineers, lead through influence, and establish AI safety, security, governance, and guardrails for production agentic systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leading the design and delivery of complex production systems.
- Demonstrated ownership or technical leadership of a major system or work spanning multiple teams.
- Deep experience building AI/ML-powered production systems, including predictive modeling, graph ML, security analytics, anomaly detection, risk scoring, LLMs or agentic AI, and MLOps.
- Hands-on experience with probabilistic modeling, graph analytics, calibration and evaluation, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic workflows, model evaluation, or AI observability.
- Expert-level programming in Python and/or Java, Go, TypeScript, or a similar language.
- Strong command of distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native technologies, databases, and scalable architectures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Security-product or cybersecurity experience, including attack-path analysis, vulnerability management, identity security, threat intelligence, detection, or response, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Windsurf is a plus.
- Experience with AI evaluation, safety, governance, or policy guardrails is a plus.

- Base pay is $201,300 - $352,300, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
