Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision and architecture for exploitability-driven security across the portfolio.
- Solve advanced modeling problems involving calibrated attack-path probability, identity and agent surfaces, and ground-truth feedback.
- Establish engineering standards and architectural direction for scalability, reliability, and scientifically rigorous scoring across multiple teams.
- Define the build-on strategy across existing products and new capabilities.
- Set technical direction across teams without direct authority and deliver enterprise-scale products.
- Apply emerging AI to cybersecurity, including AI-native development, coding agents, autonomous workflows, and agentic systems.
- Represent technology and innovation to executives, customers, partners, and the broader engineering organization.
- Mentor staff and senior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Set direction for AI safety, security, governance, and guardrails for production agentic systems.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including significant technical and engineering leadership responsibility.
- Deep expertise building production AI/ML systems involving LLMs, foundation models, agentic architectures, RAG, retrieval, model evaluation, and probabilistic or ML-driven scoring.
- Expertise in predictive modeling, graph ML, security analytics, anomaly detection, risk scoring, LLMs/agentic AI, and MLOps.
- Experience designing and delivering AI/ML-powered products and platforms in production.
- Experience leading technical initiatives spanning multiple teams without direct authority.
- Experience designing systems that scale to enterprise workloads.
- Hands-on experience with frontier LLMs, agent frameworks, retrieval and vector technologies, model evaluation and observability, probabilistic modeling, or graph analytics.
- Strong backend engineering experience with distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Expert-level Python and modern AI frameworks and infrastructure; Java, Go, or similar languages are valuable.
- Extensive experience using AI-native development tools and coding agents across the software development lifecycle.
- Applied cybersecurity experience in threat detection, vulnerability and exposure management, identity security, risk prioritization, autonomous remediation, security products, or modern security operations is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
