Responsibilities
- Develop and review test strategies and plans aligned with project scope, tools, and testing approaches.
- Validate BlueZone mainframe applications and perform Java code, API, Cucumber, and SQL testing.
- Plan, design, execute, and document test cases, including data validation and verification.
- Identify resource and test-environment gaps and escalate unresolved or recurring issues.
- Monitor testing risks and defects, ensure accurate reporting, and manage defect tracking.
- Prepare test summary reports and documentation for technology leaders, governance and risk teams, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams and participate in Quality Engineer Community of Practice meetings.
- Support Jira Kanban process management and Agile team delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience typically required.
- Comparable combinations of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may substitute for a degree.
- Knowledge of analytical thinking, controls testing, corporate governance, quality assurance, software testing, test case development, quality support, and usability testing preferred.
- Competence in application testing, software quality assurance and testing, software development life cycle practices, process management, technical documentation management, technical troubleshooting, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- No required certifications or licenses.
