Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Karate DSL, or similar tools.
- Write automation scripts using Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Perform API testing for REST and SOAP services using tools such as Karate, Postman, or RestAssured.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Write clear test cases and bug reports.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA team members.
- Use testing frameworks, build tools, CI/CD tools, and version-control systems as part of the test automation process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation.
- Strong Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming experience for scripting.
- Experience with API testing using REST or SOAP and tools such as Karate, Postman, or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit, Maven or Gradle, and Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Hands-on experience with Bitbucket or Git for version control.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Karate is preferred.
- Understanding of STLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, decision-making, and results-driven skills.
- Any graduate qualification.
