Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, and regression test solutions.
- Execute automated and exploratory testing for functional, usability, accessibility, responsive, and cross-browser requirements.
- Apply risk-based testing techniques to prioritize efforts and improve release confidence.
- Use AI tools to improve test design, test data creation, automation development, and testing efficiency.
- Analyze defects, logs, monitoring data, and test results to identify risks and support root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Architects to ensure requirements are testable and aligned with quality objectives.
- Contribute to automation frameworks, quality practices, engineering standards, and accessibility and automation best practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Quality Engineering or QA experience focused on test automation and web application testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience with accessibility testing, WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards, accessibility validation tools such as Axe and Lighthouse, and inclusive design principles.
- Experience testing modern web applications, user journeys, responsive interfaces, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong understanding of API testing, REST services, SQL, and data validation.
- Experience implementing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Cloud platform experience such as AWS or similar.
- Strong analytical, debugging, defect investigation, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence quality outcomes across cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include performance testing experience, observability or monitoring tools knowledge, exposure to security testing concepts, and experience championing accessibility and automation practices across teams.
