Responsibilities
- Deliver new frontend features and bug fixes with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces and application state across platforms.
- Maintain codebase quality through coding standards, code reviews, modular design, and automated testing.
- Test, debug, and optimize complex frontend applications, including rendering and memory performance.
Requirements
- Proven production experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in large-scale applications.
- Strong competency with state-management tools such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar.
- Ability to write modular, maintainable, well-tested code and debug complex frontend applications.
- Deep interest or experience with peer-to-peer technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfort working remotely with a globally distributed team and communicating effectively.
- Preferred: experience with Electron, Tauri, or similar desktop application runtimes.
- Preferred: familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication.
- Preferred: experience optimizing UI rendering and memory usage and building applications for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Bonus: contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology.
