Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end data product lifecycle from business understanding and data analysis through product design, development, deployment, and delivery.
- Develop high-quality data programs using PySpark and solve data mining and processing challenges.
- Drive communication and coordination across teams to clarify or redefine goals and align data products with business requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, software design, architecture work, and pair programming.
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to design and deliver impactful data products.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies in the data ecosystem and share insights with the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data modeling and data analysis.
- At least 2 years of experience with most of Spark, Python, HDFS, Databricks, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Airflow.
- Strong engineering skills and a solid grasp of the modern software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Pandas, Scikit-learn, or other data science and data analysis tools is preferred.
- Background in data mining and machine learning, including familiarity with common algorithms and libraries, is preferred.
- Experience working in diverse and international environments.
- Experience in the mobile app, advertising, or gaming ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with product design and infrastructure challenges.
- Major in mathematics or computer science.
