Base Salary
$171k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-throughput backend fintech applications and products.
- Gather functional requirements, create technical specifications, and lead project and test planning.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, mentor engineers, and lead a small team solving programming and design problems.
- Spend roughly 70% or more of the role on hands-on coding.
- Document architectural and design options for development teams and business users.
- Resolve defects and bugs during QA, pre-production, production, and post-release patching.
- Collaborate with product management, QA/QE, product lines, business units, policy, compliance, legal, operations, and other Intuit teams.
- Design and develop well-architected backend applications and AI-driven risk management solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- Strong leadership experience, including leading meetings, presenting, serving as a technical point of contact, and leading cross-functional work.
- BS or MS in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes.
- Experience across the software development life cycle and with software design and architecture.
- Expertise with unit testing and test-driven development.
- Strong communication skills, including explaining complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Business acumen, strategic thinking, and strategy development experience.
