Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality across the SDLC.
- Build and maintain automated tests for REST APIs and third-party integrations such as CRM systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based automated test frameworks.
- Implement end-to-end, integration, and API tests.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Contribute to shift-left testing practices and quality engineering initiatives.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development.
- Support performance and reliability testing where applicable.
Requirements
- Mid-level hands-on experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
- Strong experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
- Solid programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing using REST, Postman, or similar tools.
- Understanding of test design patterns, automation best practices, and software testing principles.
- Experience integrating tests into Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Pact contract testing, AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with ServiceNow or enterprise SaaS platforms; experience with Grafana or ELK; and exposure to AI-driven or self-healing testing approaches.
