Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute performance test scenarios based on non-functional requirements and testing guidelines.
- Automate performance test scenarios using existing functional and performance test scripts.
- Design workload models, build performance scripts, and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and failover tests.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.
- Track defects to closure, report test results, and escalate issues as needed.
- Support traceability among non-functional requirements, test scenarios, and defects.
- Integrate performance testing with the delivery pipeline and produce results.
- Create synthetic test data according to required distributions and volumes.
- Develop understanding of supported products, logical architectures, and technical designs.
- Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, DevSecOps, service delivery, and operational support teams.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, and Fiddler.
- Ability to design workload models, build performance scripts, execute load and stress tests, and analyze bottlenecks.
- Understanding of infrastructure testing concepts including Linux, Windows, network connectivity, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, cloud platforms, and containers.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, communicate openly, stay current in the specialty area, and resolve disagreements effectively.
