Base Salary
$196k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize user-facing experiences for discovering and onboarding Discord.
- Develop scalable backend systems for high-performance content delivery.
- Work across the full stack, including frontend and backend technologies.
- Design and run A/B experiments to assess user acquisition and activation.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain performance and reliability standards for user-facing properties.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on future collaboration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with production web products.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and React for high-performance frontend development.
- Practical experience with Python and backend frameworks like Flask.
- Experience designing and running A/B tests with a data-driven approach.
- Comfortable working across the full stack and owning projects end to end.
- Ability to ask insightful questions and make sound judgments on project delivery.
