Base Salary
$196k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize user-facing experiences that improve discovery, understanding, and onboarding.
- Develop scalable backend systems serving dynamic, high-performance content at scale.
- Work across the frontend and backend stack using TypeScript, React, and Python.
- Design and run A/B experiments to measure user acquisition and activation impact.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to identify and iterate on growth opportunities.
- Maintain performance and reliability standards for user-facing properties.
- Write readable, reviewable code designed for maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production web products.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and React and experience delivering high-performance frontend experiences.
- Practical experience with Python and backend frameworks such as Flask.
- Experience designing and running A/B tests for data-driven decision making.
- Comfort working across the full stack and owning projects end to end.
- Preferred experience with growth-focused engineering teams, activation, onboarding, or acquisition.
- Experience building SEO infrastructure or interest in how LLMs and search engines index and surface web content is preferred.
- Mobile development experience is a bonus.
