Base Salary

$186k - $219k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, and networking, driving standards, tooling, and operational patterns.
  • Build and maintain self-service tooling and paved-road defaults for safe cloud infrastructure provisioning and operations.
  • Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed security, compliance, and reliability guardrails.
  • Standardize multi-cloud infrastructure and improve consistency across networking, compute, and shared platform primitives.
  • Lead technical investigations and operational improvements across infrastructure boundaries.
  • Use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with VPCs, transit gateways, DNS, load balancers, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go or Python, for platform tooling and automation.
  • Ability to drive cross-team technical initiatives across multiple infrastructure domains.
  • Ability to use generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight.

  • Annual base salary range of $186,065—$218,900 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
