Responsibilities
- Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and planning teams to identify operational bottlenecks and conduct on-site discovery.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into user stories, functional specifications, technical data models, and AI prototypes.
- Act as Scrum Master for prototyping work, managing backlogs, feedback cycles, risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
- Design, write, deploy, and scale robust Python-based AI prototypes and reusable AI components.
- Build RAG pipelines, semantic search engines, multi-agent workflows, and AI-powered operational solutions.
- Integrate AI applications with Poka, Weaver, MES, SAP ERP, document repositories, knowledge bases, databases, telemetry streams, and unstructured files.
- Ingest, clean, structure, and connect complex enterprise data while partnering with security, data, and architecture teams on compliant integration patterns.
- Deliver measurable operational improvements and transition validated prototype code to core engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a highly quantitative field.
- Professional experience delivering software, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives, including hands-on GenAI solution development.
- Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, logistics, or industrial environments.
- Production-grade Python development, strong SQL skills, and experience with LLM APIs, vector databases, and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI or Google Cloud/Vertex AI.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work on manufacturing floors and present technical architectures to executives.
- Preferred experience with SAP, Poka, Weaver, MES, AI evaluation and guardrail frameworks such as Ragas, TruLens, or Phoenix.
- Preferred familiarity with Git/GitHub, Docker, CI/CD workflows, Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, or Airflow.
