Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and reusable platform features.
- Implement self-service infrastructure, deployment automation, and service configuration systems.
- Translate high-level designs into working solutions with Lead Engineers and Architects.
- Evaluate feasibility and technical trade-offs and provide design feedback.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution.
- Improve system performance, reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and developer experience.
- Identify and address technical debt.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that improve team productivity.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to cloud-native platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Auto Scaling, EKS/ECS, Lambda, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, EBS, EFS, S3, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
- Proficiency in Terraform or an equivalent infrastructure-as-code tool.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience including deployment, troubleshooting, and scaling.
- Experience with deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as CloudWatch, logging, and monitoring systems.
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization practices is preferred.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
