Responsibilities
- Design and develop platform features focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Implement platform capabilities such as self-service infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with Lead Engineers and Architects to translate designs into working solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Contribute to improving system performance and developer experience.
- Support and enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Assist in identifying and addressing technical debt.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to improve team productivity.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of software engineering experience with cloud-native platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, and S3.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deployment and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization practices is a plus.
