Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver complex Skywise and Palantir Foundry solutions from requirements through development, testing, deployment, support, and operations.
  • Define and enforce technical standards, golden rules, best practices, source-code auditing, integration practices, and security requirements.
  • Build and optimize data engineering, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled applications, including PySpark and Java-based decoding pipelines.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and end-to-end test cases for complex data workflows and user-interface interactions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, project leaders, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders on requirements, prioritization, delivery, and expectations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex data pipeline and application issues while managing defects and release activities.
  • Mentor development team members, build team competencies, and establish knowledge management practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement, AI adoption, innovation, quality, compliance, and on-time delivery across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science, or software application development.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
  • Strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry tools including Code Repository, Pipeline Builder, Access Management, Ontology, Object Explorer, Workshop, Templates, Marketplace, Quiver, and Slate.
  • Experience optimizing PySpark or Java-based decoding pipelines and processing raw, compressed, or binary data into structured datasets.
  • Knowledge of AIP tools on Foundry, AI-enabled development workflows, SQL, relational databases, data governance, and security.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across locations; aviation or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Git, Confluence, Agility, Jira, ServiceNow, and AWS is preferred or advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, independent-working, collaboration, continuous-learning, and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work in the CET timezone based on project needs.
