Base Salary

$69k - $142k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
  • Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to resolve issues and improve product image quality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-tested code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in planning, requirements development, software design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and complete assigned development tasks independently.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
  • A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field, or four years of professional software or signals-processing experience in lieu of a degree; military electronic warfare or signals-processing experience may also qualify.
  • Familiarity with Python, C++, Rust, or a similar programming language.
  • Familiarity developing in Linux and/or a cloud environment, with AWS preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Preferred: programming experience in multiple languages and knowledge of radar or electro-optical fields.
  • Preferred: academic experience in digital signal processing and experience implementing algorithms in software.
  • Preferred: Scrum/Agile development knowledge and Jira experience.
