Base Salary

$99k - $135k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Translate customer needs and requirements into software designs and implementation plans.
  • Develop and maintain software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and detailed designs.
  • Develop, integrate, optimize, and troubleshoot software products, system integrations, and supplier-supplied components.
  • Debug complex issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot technical problems, and incorporate feedback into software improvements.
  • Research emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks and recommend relevant solutions.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics.
  • Plan, execute, and document software research and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience with object-oriented design and programming in a high-level language such as C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, or CSS.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing software on Windows or Linux.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing software for containerized architectures using Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Git.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship.
  • Preferred qualifications include a relevant engineering, mathematics, data science, physics, chemistry, or computer science degree; additional directly related experience; software architecture and design experience; requirements derivation and traceability; component integration and troubleshooting; programming and database experience; verification and validation practices; and awareness of aircraft, ground, or support systems.
