Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, implementation engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and deliverables.
  • Create, manage, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
  • Execute automated tests, provide results, and create defects with diagnostic information for triage.
  • Set up and maintain test environments and test automation.
  • Explain test outcomes and exit criteria to developers.
  • Estimate testing effort during sprint and release planning.
  • Manage defect tracking, classification, prioritization, and severity justification.
  • Perform functionality testing of web-based software and backend services.
  • Maintain test-result documentation and prepare detailed findings reports.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards.
  • Track quality assurance metrics and support product quality across the product line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong experience with test plans, testing methodologies, test case management, and test execution planning.
  • Strong experience testing web-based software solutions, including front-end and back-end services.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium with Python or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong ability to debug complex web application issues through code review and detailed logs.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitLab or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with SaaS environments and quality assurance metrics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in CI and Agile environments and work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines.
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English.
  • Prior banking-domain experience is an advantage.
