Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, implementation engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and deliverables.
- Create, manage, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
- Execute automated tests, provide results, and create defects with diagnostic information for triage.
- Set up and maintain test environments and test automation.
- Explain test outcomes and exit criteria to developers.
- Estimate testing effort during sprint and release planning.
- Manage defect tracking, classification, prioritization, and severity justification.
- Perform functionality testing of web-based software and backend services.
- Maintain test-result documentation and prepare detailed findings reports.
- Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards.
- Track quality assurance metrics and support product quality across the product line.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong experience with test plans, testing methodologies, test case management, and test execution planning.
- Strong experience testing web-based software solutions, including front-end and back-end services.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium with Python or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong ability to debug complex web application issues through code review and detailed logs.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitLab or Bitbucket.
- Experience with SaaS environments and quality assurance metrics is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in CI and Agile environments and work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines.
- Fluent written and oral communication in English.
- Prior banking-domain experience is an advantage.
