Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, application stacks, and operating procedures.
- Design and maintain automation frameworks, reusable libraries, automated testing tools, and automation solutions.
- Develop test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Execute automated validation, track defects and resolutions, and report functional and non-functional coverage metrics.
- Develop technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, and implement efficient programs consistent with Wipro standards and accepted design patterns.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, business, testing, client, and internal stakeholder teams on requirements, acceptance criteria, automation backlogs, and deployment practices.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects and provide support to testers and support personnel in diagnosing system problems.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, performance reviews, successful mitigations, and project information according to Wipro guidelines.
- Monitor automation quality, adherence to project plans, issue resolution, deployment risks, and client escalation management.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in test automation.
- Mandatory skill: Test Automation.
- Ability to analyze software requirements, architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Experience designing and executing automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to develop test cases, automation tools, reusable libraries, technical specifications, and automation frameworks.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Ability to collaborate with development, testing, business, client, and internal stakeholder teams and communicate clearly.
- Ability to document code and projects and apply accepted design patterns and Wipro quality standards.
