Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing for web applications, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and execute test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Validate HTTP requests and responses, status codes, exceptions, and GraphQL APIs.
- Perform accessibility testing using JAWS or similar tools.
- Use Browser Developer Tools to troubleshoot application issues and support defect analysis.
- Track, report, and manage defects in JIRA and maintain test documentation in Confluence.
- Define, monitor, and improve quality metrics, QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and engineering teams to identify quality risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5.5 years of total experience.
- Strong experience in manual testing and web automation testing.
- Must-have expertise in Playwright with TypeScript.
- Hands-on coding experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation.
- Experience with test planning, test strategy, test design, test execution, defect management, and test coverage.
- Experience testing HTTP interactions, APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with accessibility testing using JAWS or similar accessibility tools.
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Good-to-have experience with the Cypress automation framework.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
