Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks and build reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Develop test plans, test cases, usage scenarios, validation processes, automated testing tools, and technical specifications.
- Track defects, resolutions, bug fixes, coverage metrics, risks, deployment issues, and mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, business subject matter experts, testers, support personnel, users, and clients.
- Help define acceptance criteria and automation backlogs for user stories.
- Develop strategies, processes, and tools to improve continuous deployment practices.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects when required.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debug data, performance reviews, and project outcomes according to Wipro guidelines.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in test automation.
- Mandatory skill: Test Automation.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Ability to develop test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Ability to perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Ability to design technical solutions, resolve complex technical issues, track defects, and communicate effectively with technical and client stakeholders.
- Ability to follow Wipro standards, accepted design patterns, documentation practices, and industry standards.
