Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable services and experiences for personalized learning, coaching, and associate development.
- Develop AI-powered coaching applications that understand context, generate guidance, and adapt to individual needs.
- Connect associate capability and performance signals with appropriate development interventions.
- Create closed-loop systems that measure intervention outcomes and improve future recommendations.
- Translate models and experimentation into reliable production systems with Product and Science partners.
- Make foundational architecture decisions for a greenfield product space.
- Design APIs, data models, and integration patterns across Customer Service systems.
- Build experimentation, measurement, and observability mechanisms.
- Deliver secure, reliable, and globally scalable systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience designing large-scale distributed systems or customer-facing platforms.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning, generative AI, large language models, recommendation systems, or personalization.
- Preferred: experience taking ambiguous or zero-to-one technical problems from concept through production.
- Preferred: experience integrating data and capabilities across multiple services and organizational boundaries.
- Preferred: experience with experimentation, measurement, and data-driven product development.
