Responsibilities
- Understand customer business drivers and connect Everpure and ecosystem technologies to measurable outcomes.
- Partner with sales teams, specialists, channel partners, and customers to drive revenue growth and new business.
- Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN offerings.
- Lead evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, interoperability testing, and performance validation.
- Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospective accounts.
- Capture requirements and translate customer business needs into innovative, scalable solutions.
- Lead or contribute substantially to RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
- Collaborate with product and technical marketing on whitepapers, web presentations, roadmap exchanges, and alliance materials.
- Track competitors and market trends to support differentiated solution positioning and internal thought leadership.
Requirements
- Pre-sales experience is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications is required.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales of storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software is preferred.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures is required.
- Knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN is required.
- Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, Linux distributed network environments, and distributed computing architectures is required.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-premises and public-cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers is required.
- Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking is required.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices architectures, LAMP, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework is a plus.
- Experience with storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, customer-facing, and technical communication skills are required.
