Responsibilities
- Build and maintain GitLab deployment pipelines and automate infrastructure with Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Design and automate development, testing, and staging environments.
- Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters, Istio service mesh, and Helm-based deployments.
- Deploy and manage AWS Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, and RDS databases.
- Automate monitoring, scaling, recovery, upgrades, and rollbacks for production environments supporting millions of connected devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on Cloud DevOps experience.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, preferably GitLab, plus experience with Terraform or equivalent automation tools.
- Python programming skills for administrative automation.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm.
- Exposure to Elasticsearch, Kibana, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Apache Kafka, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, or the EFK stack.
- Experience with microservices architectures and strong troubleshooting skills.
