Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, impactful, robust, and scalable software aligned with team and business goals.
- Transition the Accounting Core platform from a monolithic architecture to modern microservices.
- Build and operate production cloud services using C#, .NET Core, and AWS.
- Resolve complex legacy issues, database scalability challenges, and service interface or API modernization needs.
- Automate manual processes and apply test-driven and trunk-based development practices.
- Collaborate across teams, participate in planning and delivery, communicate with stakeholders, and contribute to an inclusive culture through mentoring and feedback.
Requirements
- Proficient backend development experience with one or more of C#, .NET, Java, or Go.
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts, including service-to-service communication, eventual consistency, and resilience patterns.
- Practical experience with relational databases where transactional data integrity and ACID principles are important.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Interest in using modern artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity and engineering workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to manage internal stakeholders as a technical product partner.
