Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, scalable software aligned with team and business goals and focused on customer outcomes.
- Identify and independently solve complex, ambiguous engineering problems.
- Build and operate production cloud services using C#, .NET Core, and AWS.
- Transition the platform from a monolithic architecture to modern microservices.
- Resolve legacy problems and database scalability challenges and modernize service interfaces.
- Automate manual processes and apply test-driven and trunk-based development practices.
- Collaborate across teams on planning, delivery, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Mentor others, share empathetic feedback, communicate with stakeholders, and foster an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Proficient backend development experience with one or more of C#, .NET, Java, or Go.
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts, including service-to-service communication, eventual consistency, and resilience patterns.
- Practical experience with relational databases and transactional data integrity, including ACID principles.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Interest in using modern artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity and engineering workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to manage internal stakeholders as a technical product partner.
