Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Provide architectural direction, lead design sessions, and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design specifications and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and engineering initiative planning.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Mentor development staff and help build successful, learning-oriented engineering teams.
- Lead technical conversations, communicate with executive leadership and stakeholders, and drive teams toward successful outcomes.
- Translate cloud, DevOps, AI, automation, and LLM innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and system implementation or enhancement.
- Experience with analytical system engineering, microservices architectural patterns, and extensible REST APIs.
- Fluency in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments is preferred.
- Understanding of security architecture, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Fluency in DevOps concepts is preferred.
